Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Mountain United Church of Christ in Green Mountain. Visitation will be on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Marjorie Rosfjord was born on November 27, 1931, in Marshalltown to Herman and Mabel Josie Knudson. After high school, Marge attended business college for one year. On June 28, 1953, Marge was united in marriage to Howard Stubbs at the LeGrand Friends Church. Marge had previously worked at Lennox in Marshalltown, the Green Mountain elevator and the Marshall County Auditor’s Office where she retired from. Marge had been a member of the Red Hat Society, Central Iowa Artist Association, OWO and current member of the Women’s Fellowship group. She enjoyed cooking, going to church activities, playing the accordion, gardening, painting and drawing as well as attending her grandchildren’s sporting activities.

Marge is survived by her children: Joni (Kevyn) Zacharias, of Conrad, and Daniel (Michelle) Stubbs, of Tama, as well as grandchildren: Brent Zacharias, Blake Zacharias, Kristina Stubbs and Danielle Stubbs. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Elickxander, Dayne, Klein, Aria and Maverick and sister in laws Barbara Rosfjord and Janet Stubbs.

Marge is preceded in death by her husband Howard; parents Herman and Mabel; sister Vivian Kouba and brothers Howard and Donald.
