Audrey Ann (Rucker) Youker, of Marshalltown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5th, 2018, at the Iowa River Hospice Home surrounded by her family.

A private family visitation and burial will be held in her honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Elmwood Cemetery in LaMoille towards perpetual care. Audrey was born on November 28th, 1932, in Tama County to Hollis and Blanche (Cornelius) Rucker. She graduated from Marshalltown High School, Class of 1950. After high school, Audrey worked for and retired from Fisher Controls in Marshalltown. Along with working at Fisher Controls, she also farmed alongside her husband. In her free time, Audrey enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, boating, snowmobiling, gardening and having “spirited” conversations with her husband. She married Jack Youker on June 18th, 1950, and had five children: Karen (Mike Miller) Good, Jan (Gary) Pfantz, Jody Skinner, Roger Youker and Nancy “Gert” (Ricky) Youker-Raney.

Audrey is survived by her sister, Hollie (Dave) Peschel; her five children and their spouses, her eight grandchildren and their spouses, eleven great grandchildren and many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; her brother, Junior and her grandson, R.D. Callahan.
