Bill Oetker, 85
A Mass of Christian Burial for William “Bill” Oetker, of Marshalltown, IA was held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Father Don Czapla officiated the service with special readings by Joanne Lenox. Special music was performed by Marilyn Spafford and Karen Mroz.
Pallbearers were Nick Adams, Adam Odland, Marc Oetker, Marty Kielly, Mike Kielly and Bruce Connelly.
Military Honors were provided by the Combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard. He was laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery.
Groups in attendance included Glenwood Place, Iowa River Hospice House, Marshall County Sheriffs Department, St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Henry Catholic Church, among others.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Bill and his family.
