Rose Agnes Kvidera, 88, of Traer, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 22, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer with Father David Kucera as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Traer. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 4-7 PM at St. Paul Catholic Church with a Rosary at 7 PM.
Survivors include her children: Marcia (Joseph) Szuhay, of Elyria, OH, Samuel (Julie) Kvidera, of Dysart, Peter (Melanie Shakarian) Kvidera, of Cleveland, OH, and Andrew Kvidera, of Newton; eight grandchildren; siblings, Vitus Kucera, of Marshalltown, Sister Rose Mary Kucera, of Iowa City, Joseph (Patricia Prijatel) Kucera, of Des Moines, and Philip (Darla) Kucera, of Des Moines; one brother-in-law, James D. Herink, of The Colony, TX; and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kucera, of Traer.
A memorial fund will be established.
