Funeral services for Roger L. Jones, Marshalltown, were held on July 23, 2018, at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel where Chaplain Angela Doty officiated.
Pallbearers were Dan Jones, Mike Jones, Ben Jones, Justin Pille, Jordan Discher and Nick Discher. He was laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery with full military honors.
Staff and residents of the IVH attended the service, among others.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Roger and his family.
