Funeral services for Steve will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will take place prior to the service, starting at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the family for designation at a later time. Steven Michael Sincox was born on April 7, 1970, in Springfield, Illinois, to Tom Sincox and Patricia Anderson Sincox. Steve attended Iowa State University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and became a licensed Professional Engineer. On May 20, 1995, Steve was united in marriage to Colleen Tracey in Ottumwa, Iowa. Steve had worked for the Marshalltown Water Works and in 2008 became the General Manager and CEO of the department. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Marshalltown Economic Development, East Marshall Boosters Club and the United Way. Steve enjoyed fixing and building things. He also liked to go camping, coach baseball, rock music and ultimately loved the time he spent with his family.

Steve will be missed by his wife of twenty-three years, Colleen, as well as their children: Grant, Cayla and Max. He is also survived by his father: Tom Sincox; brothers: Brian (Patti) Sincox, of Ottumwa, Brad (Randi) Sincox, of Montezuma, and his mother and father-in-law: John and Elaine Tracey, of Epworth, Iowa.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; as well as his brother-in-law and best friend, Terry Tracey.
