Irvin Frederick Vaske, 85
A Memorial service for Deacon Irvin Frederick Vaske, 85, of Marshalltown, was held on September 7, 2018, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Archbishop Michael Jackels and Father Don Czapla officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Monica Carroll, Isaac Vaske, Matthew Walsh, Rachel Tendall, Jared Vaske and Jacob West.
Honorary Pallbearers were Larry Frieberger, Mike Linhart and Deacons of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. He was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
Groups in attendance included staff of Van Meter schools, Deacons of the Dubuque Diocese, Iowa Veterans Home staff, Big Brothers Big Sisters staff, Lennox Industries and members of St. Henry Catholic Church, among others.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Irvin and his family.
