Duane Sellers, 90
Funeral services for Duane W. Sellers, 90, of Monroe, were held on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Monroe Presbyterian Church in Monroe. Pastor Ann Johnson officiated the service. Special music was performed by Mary Sellers, Karlin Hjortshoj and Jacque Robinson.
Pallbearers were Caleb Sellers, Sam McIlrath, Greg Sellers, Chris Sellers and Devon Wolf.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Sellers, Don Benjamin, Jerry Sellers, Tom Benjamin and Carl Wilson.
He was laid to rest in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe, Iowa.
Groups in attendance included Park Centre retirement center and Wesley Life Hospice, among others.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Duane and his family.
