Franklin Wayne Bro, 87, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Greg Boyle and Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-seven years, Ora Mae of Toledo; five children, Jill (Tony) de Laubenfels of Mt. Vernon, Erin Bro (Mark Pennell) of Marshalltown, Matt (Deb) Bro of Gilbert, AZ, Paula (Todd) Lober of Gilbert, AZ, and Brett (Brenda) Bro of Toledo; his son-in-law, Paul Bartelt of Forest City; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald (Mary) Bro of Cedar Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Grace Community Church in Toledo.
