Angela Moon Jean Chaplin Lins Eich

Angela Moon Jean Chaplin Lins Eich was born Angela Jean Lins on 7-16-1981 to Francis and Julia (Thompson) Lins in Marshalltown, Iowa. A sensitive Spirit who felt things deeply, she departed this world on 6-12-2019. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, in-law, niece and friend.

Angie married the man she always said she would, John Paul Eich, on 6-14-2008. At the time of her passing, they were the proud pet parents of Dexter, Gisele, Chappy, Brave and Concertina.

She attended the Marshalltown Public Schools and was a graduate of Marshalltown Community College and Buena Vista University, majoring in Psychology. A lifelong cheerleader for her hometown, she celebrated its accomplishments, mourned its losses and believed in its infinite potential. She was proud of Marshalltown and did Marshalltown proud.

Angie was a literal Renaissance woman; musician, vocalist, therapist, writer, businesswoman, teacher, trainer, entrepreneur, humanitarian, technology wizard, fashion and jewelry designer and emerging painter. Her talents and output were matched by her intense sense of loyalty, belief in justice for all living things and efforts towards community betterment. She was wickedly funny and endearingly goofy, made friends when/wherever she traveled and never met a stranger. Her energy, Spirit and empathy towards others were second to none and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

In addition to ‘her Johnny’ and their beloved pets, Angela Moon Jean is survived by her parents Francis and Julia Lins; sister Debra Williams and her partner Michael Cirlincuina; brother Nathaniel Francis Howard Lins; nieces, Rileigh and Ryann Williams and nephew Miles Williams; uncles Bob (Pat) Thompson and Arnie Thompson; aunts Mary (Kevin) Lynch, Alyce Kelly, Peggy (Bob) Lewis, Evette (Dan) Dombrosky and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn her loss are her in laws: John (Sr.) and Ginger Eich, Vicki Tice (Jeff), Greg Eich (Shannon); nieces: Brittany Gummert (Joe), Brooke Davis (Kipp), Tatum Eich; great nieces: Jordin and Baylee Gummert and Vada Davis and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Everette Lins, Marilyn (Lins) Flattery and Bill Flattery and Howard and Daisy Thompson, as well as Paul and Hazel Mahnke , Maxine and John Eich and many of her ‘adopted children.’
