Randall Joseph Luethje, 31

Randall Joseph Luethje, 31, of Marshalltown, Iowa, who was born on April 23, 1988 to Ricky and Mary (Kandner) Luethje, passed away at BSA hospital in Amarillo, Texas, on May 20, 2019.

He is survived by his loving wife Desirae and two sons Owen and Kameron; his mother Mary; siblings: Michael (Karen) and their children, Zach, Emily and Evelyn, as well as his other siblings, Derrick, Chase, Madelyn and Nathan and grandmother Alice Christine Caputo, all of Guymon. He is also survived by his father Rick and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Randy worked at Metokote Corporation in Waterloo, Iowa, as a Sr. Waste Water Operator and Lab tech, JBS in Marshalltown, Iowa as a Rendering Mechanic, Case Farms as a Waste Water Supervisor in Goldsboro, North Carolina and at Seaboard Foods as a Rendering Maintenance/Pre-Treat Supervisor in Guymon, Oklahoma.

He attended both Marshalltown and East Marshall school districts. Randy met the love of his life, Desirae Elizabeth Thompson in 2005 and they married in 2010. Randy loved his Detroit Lions and enjoyed watching football games. Randy enjoyed fishing with his wife and kids and spending time with them. He enjoyed playing cribbage, golfing, traveling and listening to music. His favorite music group was the hottest band in the world “KISS.” Randy was a very kind and generous soul. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be at Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 10 a.m.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Yvonne Luethje; Uncle Rollie Luethje and Larry Stallwood; his great grandmother Mary Caputo and great grandparents Vern and Virginia Stallwood.
