Vernon A. Decker, 89
Mass of Christian Burial was held for Vernon A. Decker, 89, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019, with Father Michael McAndrew as officiant and special music provided by Marilyn Spafford on the organ and vocalist Karen Mroz.
Casket bearers were Alexander Moore, Mitchell Ruopp, Brad Peterson, Ian Hyde, Tyler Peglow, Aaron Sanders, Mark Sanders, Richard Sanders and Paul Wathanacharoen.
Honorary bearers were Marcia Hyde, Lene Moore, Michelle Peterson, Melissa Ruopp and Angela Wathanacharoen.
Groups in attendance included the Knights of Columbus Marshall Council No. 966 among others.
Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery Mausoleum, Marshalltown, IA.
Following the services, all were invited to join the family for a luncheon and time of fellowship in the reception hall.
