Funeral services for Gerald “J.J.” Johnson, 88, were held at 11:00 a.m. on August 13, 2019, at the Anderson Funeral Homes, Marshalltown, IA, with Rev. Greg Ellcey officiating.
Casket bearers were Corey Miller, Andy Wilson, Drew Purcell, Nate Miltenberger, Ken Harvey and Jeff Johnson.
Honorary bearers were Craig Brewer, Eric Brewer, Levi Brewer, Ben Brewer and Brent Brewer.
Groups in attendance included members of the Class of 1950, Iowa River Hospice, Marshalltown Community School Teachers and Wolfe Eye Clinic staff.
Interment was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown, IA.
