Funeral services for Craig will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Edgar officiating. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens following services. Craig Edgar was born on March 26, 1950, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Arlene “Winnifred” (Fouts) Edgar. He was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School District where he graduated with the class of 1968. Following his graduation, Craig earned his nickname “Crazy” by volunteering himself into the Army. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War and was very proud of his country. Craig was united in marriage to Pamela Edwards. The two later divorced, but it was from this union that his two daughters were born: Serina and Chanda. Craig went on to marry Kathleen Welch for many years and the two divorced as well, but Kathleen was always a big part of their lives to date. He was a hard working man dedicating his skills and career with Lennox Industries. Craig retired from Lennox a few years ago. He had a passion for duck hunting, cars, golfing, NASCAR and spending time with his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters: Serina Stabenow and Chanda Edgar; grandchildren: Josephine Stabenow and Lilly Ray Buck and one brother, Curtis (DeeDee) Edgar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Richard “Dick” Edgar; his four legged furry companion, Ruby (cat); both maternal and paternal grandparents.
