Private family graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Born on July 10th, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of Frank and Jenny (Klauss) Hobbs. He graduated from high school and soon enlisted in the United States Air Force serving our country honorably over his career. Later, he was employed in boiler making and management. He called Marshalltown home as well as Florida during his lifetime.

Ron enjoyed playing pool, gardening and thrift shopping and had a keen appreciation of art. He will be missed by many.

Surviving is his partner, Kim Hornberg, who was blessed to be a part of Ronald’s life the past 25 years and Kim’s sons Travis (Laura) Hornberg and Dave (Amanda Parks) Hornberg and many cousins, his friend, Sandy Miller, and numerous other friends.

In death, Ron rejoined his parents and brother, Allen Hobbs.
