A private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marshalltown.

Bill is survived by his wife, Gwen, of Nevada; his children: Deb Wood, of Kansas City, MO, Deanna Ward, of Ames and David (Jennifer) Ward, of Seattle, WA; and his grandchildren: Will Wood, Jacob, Lana and MeiLin Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Lois Damman, Dorothy Smith and Jean Hurlbut.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clemons United Church of Christ in Clemons.
