Sabrina or “Brina” as her family called her was born on February 11, 2012, in Marshalltown to parents Patrick and Tabitha (Meyers) Hendershott. She was the best big sister to twins Quinlan and Nova.

Brina absolutely adored music in every way — and the louder the music was, the better. She loved her dance time at Dance Without Limits. She made many friends at Southeast Elementary, her school for the past three years in Ankeny, IA. She enjoyed looking at books and riding horses. Though she wasn’t a fan of loud noises, Sabrina loved fireworks. She was a huge Mickey Mouse fan, especially the old black and white cartoons. She wore her emotions on her sleeve, and when she was excited about something, you knew it by the way she would flop, smile and scream. Her family said it was “her way or no way” because she did whatever she wanted to do when she wanted to do it. She was sweet and sassy and a fighter.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Patrick and Tabitha; her brother Quinlan; sister Nova; grandparents: Mark and Kim Shipley, of Tama, Jim and Alta Hendershott, of State Center and Randy and Shawn Meyers, of Conrad; great grandparents: Richard and Regina Fry, of Des Moines and Patricia Hendershott, of Madrid; great-great grandmother Betty Hutchinson, of Des Moines; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sabrina is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Margaret Meyers, James Hendershott, Alrene Meyer, Karen Shipley and Louie Shipley.
