Carolyn Janet Monroe Mills, 84, formally of Gilman IA, died Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Cuenca, Ecuador. Carolyn was born March 16, 1936, the daughter of John and Lucille Monroe. On October 31, 1954, she was united in marriage to Alan G. Mills.
Carolyn is survived by her son Mark A. Mills (Deb Block), of Marshalltown IA, daughter Denise (Dirk) Siemens, of Garwin IA, daughter Ronda (Brent) McDowell, of Marshalltown IA, son Scott ( Dina), of Middleburg, Fl, daughter Laura (Dave) Schmalzried, of Clearwater, Fl, Christine Springer, of Huxley, IA. Sister-in-law Sally Ross, of Corning, IA; her 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Alan, her brother Stanley Monroe and son-in-law Jim Springer.
