Eldon L. Joy, 72
Eldon L. Joy, 72, of Tama, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at UnityPoint Health- Marshalltown. Traditional Graveside Services were held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Wake was held Sunday evening at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn of Tama; sons, Arlo (Melinda) Wanatee, and Colton (Tanya) Joy; daughters, Elynn Joy, Tanata Joy, Brienne Joy, Savannah Joy, and Virginia Joy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Roberts, Sharon Mervin, and Cheryl Wright; and brothers, Preston and Vincent Duncan.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
