A funeral service for Beryl Keen, 103, was held on March 2, 2021 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Mullikin officiated the service and special music was performed by Ashley Keen and Cheryl Mullikin. Pallbearers were Kevin Keen, Chip Uhde, Greg Keen, Carl Jensen, Jeff Keen and Jesse Keen. Honorary pallbearers were Kami Uhde, Erin Jensen, Melissa Keen, Stephanie Keen, and Ashley Keen. Beryl was laid to rest in the Le Grand Friends Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard from the surrounding area. Groups in attendance included members of Le Grand Friends Church, Glenwood Place staff and residents, and the Iowa River Hospice. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Beryl and his family.
