Donna Petitt, 88
Donna Petitt, 88, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Donna was born June 16, 1932 to Lacel and Pauline (Rost) Jones in Oskaloosa, IA. She graduated from Ottumwa High School. Donna moved to Marshalltown in the early 1950’s. She later met Melvin while working at Fishers. Donna was united in marriage to Melvin Petitt in Marshalltown. They were blessed with four wonderful children Mike, Faye, Trina and Paul. Donna loved gardening, ceramics and spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children; Mike Petitt, Faye Terwey, Trina (George) Wright, Paul (Roxie) Petitt, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Karen Leckness and one son-in-law John Terwey.
