Memorial services for John will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. John Kjormoe was born on September 2, 1953 in Marshalltown to John and Nadine Stonewall Kjormoe. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1971. On February 15, 1975, John was united in marriage to Jo Harrison. John was retired from Fisher Control after 32 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and his friends. John especially loved his family and beloved dogs and three grand dogs.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Jo. Children: Kip (Heidi Draisey and her children, Ellie and Braylon) Kjormoe of Marshalltown, Ali (Rich) Green of Ankeny and Abby Kjormoe (Jordan and Kalon) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by his beloved grandson, Brecken Green and siblings: Craig Kjormoe of Marshalltown and Sara Robertson of Ankeny and her children: Zach (Michelle) Robertson and their son Brooks, and Hannah Robertson.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nadine and an infant sister.
