A Funeral Service for Merlin Herman Klaas, 87, of Rhodes was held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Al Frank officiating. He was laid to rest in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, IA. Pallbearers were Roger Kelber, Braydon Thomas, Steve Oxley, Dick Jones, Duane Damman and Jim Hoover. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Johnson, Dick Kratoska and Kent Thomas. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Merlin and his family.
