Geraldine “Gerri” Vodochodsky, 54, of Frisco, TX, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away November 18, 2021, at UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown under the care of the Iowa River Hospice. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites have been given and no services are planned. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Gerri and her family. Gerri was born on September 8, 1967, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Greg and Sharon (Wood) Tella. She attended the Marshalltown public schools. On October 13, 2006, she was united in marriage to Tony Vodochodsky. The couple made their home in Marshalltown where they raised their family. Gerri loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed listening to classic rock and playing cards.
Surviving are her children: Kristina (Kevin) Peak, Rebecca (Juan) Martinez, Natasha (Cory) Williams, Heather Reynolds and Torrie (Daniel) Sanchez; stepchildren: Wendy (junior) Prusha and Kayla Heatherington; grandchildren: Tayden and Trystan Peak, Naomi and David Martinez, Fiby Mahoney, Jailynn, Tyrin and Rhett Williams, Kaylee, Jasmine, Aaron and Lucas West, Noah Cooley, Oliver Sanchez, Zach and Averi Prusha; her siblings: Rebecca Adams, Doug Wood and Gregory (Jessica) Tella.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Tony, and daughter, Ashley Steele.
