Betty Jane (Varnum) Caldwell
Betty Jane (Varnum) Caldwell was born in Marshalltown on July 18, 1929, to Ken and Alice Varnum. She was Homecoming Queen in 1946 at Marshalltown High and graduated in 1947.
Betty married Danny Caldwell on June 6, 1951. They moved back to Marshalltown in 1983, where they started the successful Minute Man Copy Center on S 1st St., retiring in 2001.
Betty passed away on May 3, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21st at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. For full obituary, please visit www.mitchellfh.com.
