Wells Aaron Grosvenor
Wells Aaron, son of Josh and Allison Grosvenor, was born Friday, September 23rd, 2022, in Ames, IA. Josh and Allison were blessed to spend eight precious hours with him before he passed away. Wells was born with a rare heart condition, which was unknown prior to delivery. Due to his critical condition, Wells was transferred to Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines where he passed later that evening.
The family has been overwhelmed by the love and support from their family, friends and community during this time. The family would like to thank Dr. Joyce Lines, the staff at Mary Greeley Medical Center and the NICU team at Blank Children’s Hospital for their incredible care to Wells and the entire family.
Wells will be remembered by his parents Josh and Allison Grosvenor, his big sisters Pearl and Vera, grandparents Terry and Rhonda Buzbee and Scott and Jody Grosvenor, aunts, uncles, and cousins Lucas and Ashley Johnson (Preston, Lily and Henry), Aaron and Michele Buzbee, Andy and Anna Randall (Owen and Charlie), and Andy and Rachel Rider (Olivia and Austin), great grandparents Donna Owen, John Peterson and Barb Grosvenor.
Wells joins his great grandparents Ron Owen, Hollis and Polly Buzbee, JoAnn Peterson and Gary Grosvenor in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, October 3, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown. Memorials may be sent in Wells’s name to the Grosvenor family for a donation to be made in his honor.
