Robert Allen Bittner, 69, of Albion, IA passed away on October 17, 2022, at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare in Marshalltown, IA. Cremation rights have been accorded and private graveside services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Anderson Funeral Homes of Marshalltown. Robert was born April 5, 1953, to Gene and Evelyn (Hodge) Bittner in Marshalltown. He graduated from Marshalltown High School. Robert was employed with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad from 1974 to 1990. Most recently he was employed with Lennox until his retirement. Robert was united in marriage to Lynnece Shore on February 2, 1973, in Albion, IA. They later divorced.
Robert is survived by a son, Travis (Marci) Bittner, of Albion. a sister, Debra Kadner, two nephews; Brian and Brad Kadner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Darrell Bittner.
