Robert was born October 13, 1927, in Marshalltown, IA, to Albert Allen Sr. and Sylvia Cripps Allen. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1945, and went on to serve in the Army 1946-1947, and in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed at Lennox Industries Inc. for 37 years, where his last title was Assistant Product Manager.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Doris, and two brothers, Albert Jr. and Warren Allen, a companion, Betty Gooding, and a niece, Barbara Allen.

He will be missed by his sister-in-law, 3 nieces and a nephew.
