Equal protection?
How can the United States have sanctuary cities protecting immigrants from criminal prosecution, but not sanctuary cities protecting American citizens from criminal prosecution?
Doesn’t this violate the Fourteenth Amendment guarantee not to “deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws?”
