‘Have you no sense of decency?’

I find myself asking President Trump and Republicans the same question that Joseph Welch asked Sen. Joe McCarthy during the Army/McCarthy hearings in 1954: “Have you no sense of decency, sir?”

President Trump questioned why the United States would accept more immigrants from Haiti and “s—hole countries” in Africa rather than places like Norway.

Donald Trump accused Democrats of “un-American” and “treasonous” behavior for not clapping during his State of the Union address.

Even though Congress passed additional sanctions against Russia by a vote of 517-5, President Trump has not imposed them. In fact he allowed Russian spy chief Sergey Naryshkin, who is specifically sanctioned by the U.S. to come to the U.S. and meet with CIA chief, Pompeo.

President Trump has tweeted threats to Iran, Pakistan, and N. Korea and recently said that he would like to unite the country without a ‘major event’ transpiring. Does that mean he would take us to war in order to “unite” the country?

President Trump has asked the Pentagon to plan a “military parade” for Washington, D.C. (Maybe like N. Korea’s?)

Chief of Staff Kelly lied about Congresswoman Wilson and a Florida FBI building. Recently, Kelly said, “Some DACA-eligible immigrants were ‘too lazy to get off their ass’ to sign up.”

Republicans causing millions to lose their healthcare by underfunding Obamacare.

The Republican Tax Cut handed Exxon Mobil $6 billion and Paul Ryan received a $500,000 campaign donation for his role then proudly said, “A secretary in Lancaster, Pa., was pleasantly surprised her pay went up $1.50 a week.”

Trump saying “I’d love to see a government shutdown over immigration.”

Trump, Republicans, and Trump TV (Fox News) waging war on the FBI in order to protect Trump from the Mueller investigation.

Nunes, Grassley and Republicans doing all they can to see Mueller’s investigation blocked/delayed/or ended.

ICE agents arresting a college professor of 30 years with no criminal offenses and preparing to deport him.

Disaster aid to Texas and Florida has been slow but sufficient while disaster aid to American citizens in Puerto Rico has been a travesty.

In Iowa, Gov. Reynolds and Republicans are planning to “GO KANSAS” on us: Tax cuts/budget cuts which will result in cutting programs for everyone except corporate sponsors.

Where are our Republican senators/representatives on these issues? SILENT! Their silence is tantamount to supporting these policies/actions.

Again, I ask Republicans, “Have you no sense of decency?”
