We look for stability at UnityPoint
I read with interest the newspaper article about the UnityPoint VP resigning and the subsequent recap of the closing of the ICU as well as the cath lab. It seems that there are no patients to sustain services.
Then I wondered why aren’t people using these services.
Well, for one reason it’s because the doctors aren’t staying. It’s disconcerting to say the least to have a doctor that is trusted only to have her/him leave. Sometimes there is a letter to the patients telling what amounts to goodbye or maybe the news comes by the grapevine.
It’s no wonder people are driving to neighboring towns for medical care.
We look for stability.
