Don’t blame the cops

I’m tired of good cops being blamed for I think of them as heroes, risking their lives every day for us.

As far as the last school shooting, viewing the video for the first time I could see why the policeman could not help the children since, I don’t know much about guns, the shooter had a machine-like gun and heard on TV he had already shot 142 or so rounds before they even got there and 100 afterwards.

So I agree with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC who stated, after watching the video over and over, that he understood why the police retreated. It wasn’t the boy they were afraid of but they could not face his gun. They would have been dead and no help at all and guess they weren’t. If it had been me I would have ran around the building and somehow tried to shoot the boy through a window but then it might have been a second story window. But you know and I know, the heart of all policemen is to take care of us if they can — they were in a bad situation.

The same with the Floyd shooting — I am tired of the media making a hero out of a criminal who was hard to handle, yelling out loudly for his girlfriend. If he was choking he would be unable to yell out loudly. If he didn’t die from a heart attack he must have died from the gas fumes he was near as his defense stated — the car should have been shut off. And now we see a good cop, on his day off, trying to help in jail.

As far as I am concerned, there is no justice anymore — people want to believe their lies. Just me, one of your readers.
