The BCLUW School District is coming together Friday night to help one of its own who lost her home in an explosion Sunday.
A special fundraiser chili and chili dog meal will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight in the commons area at BCLUW High School in Conrad as the school hosts home basketball games against West Marshall.
BCLUW food service director Joni Sanderson and her husband Bobby were not injured in the explosion but have been displaced from their home in Beaman after a gas leak led to the incident.

The damage at this home in Beaman is evident after an gas leak lead to an explosion Sunday. BCLUW High School is hosting a fundraiser meal from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday for the Sanderson family who lived in the home.
"The staff here at BCLUW wanted to do something for them," said Karen Hammers, a family and consumer science and health teacher at the high school who is one of the organizers of the benefit. "They have been supportive of our school and we wanted to give back."
