The Class 1A District 8 title game between sixth-ranked North Tama (23-1) and Gladbrook-Reinbeck (17-6) has been postponed to Friday at BCLUW High School in Conrad as a result of the winter storm to hit central Iowa. The game was originally scheduled to be played Thursday night at Grundy Center.

The winner advances to the Substate 4 finals Saturday at 7 p.m. at Benton Community High School in Van Horne.

Friday's Marshalltown High School Quarterback Club will not be held as a result of the winter weather, as well.

-----

The Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships have been bumped back a day to allow Oklahoma State to complete its journey to Ames after the team's bus was stranded in Topeka, Kan.

Iowa State hosts the conference meet, which will now begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lied Recreation Center. Sunday's competition beings at 11 a.m.
