IVH lost qualified, caring professional

I have just returned home from Alabama and read about the Iowa Veterans Home.

I have known Mark Minear, former director of the Iowa Veterans Home Mental Health Dept., for years. When I returned to New Providence, I always had coffee with his mother before she died. When Mark left the Veterans Home, she told me he was not getting along with the commandant, but no explanation. Mark is the kind that would quietly leave.

If you cannot get along with Mark Minear, you should look at yourself in the mirror. He has his doctorate in working with people my age (87) and is one of the most caring people I have met.
