TAMA - The mother-in-law of a woman found dead inside a Tama house has been charged with first-degree murder in the case.
Authorities say 57-year-old Ginger Jefferson was originally taken into custody as a material witness in the death of 32-year-old Kerry O'Clair-Jefferson. O'Clair-Jefferson's body was found inside a Tama house Wednesday afternoon.
Jefferson will make an initial court appearance Friday in Tama County Court.
