Rachel Krein shows up to school at Franklin Elementary School every day ready to learn.

It's something her fourth grade teacher, Shelly Kluver, has recognized.

"She is a hard worker and makes sure her work is quality all the time," Kluver said.

By doing her best, she has become a role model for other students at Franklin.

"She is a leader in our classroom," Kluver said.

When she's not in school, Rachel likes to spend time with her family, which includes her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Krein, 9, said she wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

"Because it's fun to work with little kids," she said.
