Mann joins Farmers Savings Bank board
Glen Mann has joined the board of Farmers Savings Bank in Marshalltown.
"Glen is a lifetime multi-generation farmer and a familiar name in the Ag business community; Farmers Savings Bank has been in business for 120 years and is known as a strong member of the local Ag banking community. As agriculture has changed over the years, so has banking and Glen will be a great partner in helping us move our bank forward as we begin our next 120 years," said Farmers Savings Bank President Thomas W. Campbell.
In addition to his responsibilities on the Farmers Savings Bank Board, Mann is an active member of the Marshalltown Bobcat Boosters and volunteers as a coach for football and baseball youth programs. He has served on the Marshall County Pork Producers Board for 10 years and served a two-year term on the Iowa Pork Board. He is a past member of the Marshalltown Little League Board and he and his family spent many hours taking care of the buildings and grounds.
Mann is married to Teri (Zink) Mann, a lifetime resident of Marshall County who is also an active volunteer in the community. They have two sons; Allen, who resides in Marshalltown and works for MHS, and Bennett, who is a student at MCC working toward a degree in agriculture.
Baweja joins McFarland Neurology
Dr. Anu Baweja, McFarland Clinic Neurologist/Epileptologist began providing neurology and epilepsy services this month at the Marshalltown McFarland Clinic office, 312 E. Main St. Baweja joined the McFarland Clinic Neurology Department in March.
Baweja completed her neurology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. While there, she also completed an epilepsy fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Baweja completed her medical degree at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Punjab, India.
She offers general neurology for adults and pediatrics, ages 12 and older, epilepsy/seizure treatment, treatment for multiple sclerosis, vagal nerve stimulation, diagnosis and treatment for dementia and memory problems and treatment for stroke.

IOWA FALLS - Lester Building Systems, LLC, a major supplier of customized, pre-engineered post-frame buildings has given a Thanks-A-Million Award to K-Van Construction Company Inc. of Iowa Falls, a dealer of 23 years. The Thanks-A-Million Award is given to Lester Building's dealers who sell more than one million dollars in Lester Buildings products in one year. An etched crystal award was presented at Lester Building's regional dealer sales meetings this spring. K-Van Construction Company Inc. was one of six dealers out of 120 nationwide, who earned this award for 2013.
