Glenn’s third UFC fight set for Saturday

EDMONTON — Marshalltown native Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn will take on undefeated featherweight Gavin Tucker on Saturday night as a part of the under-card for UFC 215.

Glenn (19-4-1, 1-1-0) scored a split decision in his last match against Phillipe Nover at UFC 208 to earn his first win in the UFC on Feb. 11. Glenn’s UFC career began almost one year ago with a loss by unanimous decision to Evan Dunham on Sept. 17, 2016.

Glenn, 28, and his wife Jenny recently moved from Milwaukee to El Dorado, Calif., so the 28-year-old could train at Team Alpha Male under UFC superstar Uriah Faber.

The match between Glenn and Tucker will be televised on Fox Sports 1 as one of four preliminary matches. The under-card begins at 7 p.m.

Tucker, 30, is 10-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 after winning a unanimous decision over Sam Sicilia in his UFC debut.
