IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 conference announced Thursday its academic all-Big 12 honorees on Thursday, and Iowa State redshirt junior Nick Weiler-Babb was announced as a first-team selection.

Weiler-Babb is averaging 11.3 points per game this season while churning out 6.8 assists a game. He has also been honored as the Big 12 player of the week earlier this season and has recorded seven double-doubles.

First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 grade-point average.
