CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa football program has announced its 2018 camp dates with a full slate running through the summer.

The Mark Farley Football Camps will offer three prospect mini camps on May 28, June 17 and June 26, while a youth camp is slated for June 18-20. The camps are open to all entrants, limited only by number, age and/or grade level.

The camps will provide coaching on technique and fundamentals from the Panther football staff, guest coaches as well as current student-athletes at UNI. The camps are designed to teach and develop student-athletes both physically and mentally to prepare them for their future football careers, while also giving an opportunity to showcase their talent.

NICL Senior Series set for March 16

REINBECK — The North Iowa Cedar League senior game has been set for a March 16 showing, pitting the best of seniors from the West and East divisions against each other for one final game.

The game is open to all seniors in the conference, and there will be a 3-point shooting contest during halftime and a dunk contest following the final game. As of now there are scheduled to be two games, one boys and one girls, but depending on the response from the girls teams there may be two boys games instead.

Games will start at 6:30 p.m. on March 16 at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School.
