PARKERSBURG — West Marshall golfer Conley Petermeier finished sixth in the Class 2A boys sectional meet on Friday at Legend Trail Golf Club.

Petermeier shot an 8-over-par 80 to earn his placing, a score good enough to secure a spot in the district competition as he was the second-best score from a non-qualifying team.

South Hardin’s Cade Prosser finished ninth in the meet with an 82, while Hunter Pfantz was the next-best mark for the Trojans with an 83.

Eric Ommen shot an 88 to lead East Marshall, and John Pointer finished in 36th for Colo-NESCO.
