WEST DES MOINES — Former Marshalltown Community College soccer player Kino Ryosuke was named to the All-Central Conference team for the Premier Development League.

Ryosuke led the Des Moines Menace to a PDL 2018 regular season title with a 13-0-1 record. He also led the entire 74-team PDL with 37 points, including 17 goals to finish second in scoring. He logged a team-leading 1,211 minutes and also had three assists.

Ryosuke, a native of Hyogo, Japan, joins Louisville in the fall after leading MCC in scoring over the last two seasons and taking over as the Tigers’ leading career scorer with 41 goals. Ryosuke also had the second-most goals in a season in 2017 with 23 scores, and his 18 goals in 2016 was the sixth-best mark in MCC history.
