BCLUW senior Bailey Ashton, seated at left, signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Marshalltown Community College softball team on Wednesday. Last year Ashton was a first-team Times-Republican All-Area pitcher. She finished with a 15-9 record and a 2.00 earned run average while striking out 166 batters and walking just 26. Seated next to Ashton are her parents Mindy and Ryan. Standing at left is MCC head softball coach Dominic Ellis, and at right is BCLUW co-coach Megan Yantis.
