WEST DES MOINES — The Marshalltown boys track and field team came in sixth out of as many teams in the CIML Iowa Conference meet on Thursday at West Des Moines Valley with 19 points.

Senior Dru Dobbins had the best finish for the Bobcats by placing third in the discus with a heave of 145 feet, 11 1/2 inches.

Dwight Joar came in fifth in the high jump by matching his season-best vault with a 5-10, and he was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles by running a season-best time of 16.22 seconds.

Jordan Anderson came in fifth in the shot put with a throw of 44-1.
