CONRAD — North Tama’s Molly Vogeler made a splash in her first Iowa Star Conference meet on Monday.

The Redhawk freshman turned in an 18-hole round of 106 to place third individually at Oakwood Country Club in Conrad. Only Tripoli’s Morgan Moeller (92) and McKenna Schaufenbuel (99) finished with better scores than Vogeler.

Daelyn Powell also had a top-10 finish for North Tama after placing eighth with a 111.

GMG finished in sixth as a team with a 537. The Wolverines’ top scorer was Lily Harris with a 118, while Megan Kohn had a 132, Rachel Slifer shot a 141, and Maya Goos finished with a 146.
