PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Marshalltown Community College volleyball team opened the season with a five-set win on the road against Pensacola State on Thursday night.

The Tigers won 27-25, 19-25, 25-18, 15-25, 15-12 in their debut.

The Tigers will travel to Snead State Community College in Boaz, Ala., and play in a three-team tournament starting today. MCC opens with a noon match against host Snead State CC and then play Gadsden State Community College in a 2 p.m. contest.
