Comet football falls at home to Jesup
CONRAD — The BCLUW football team dropped its game against Jesup 41-27 on Friday night.
The Comets’ run game totaled 271 yards on the night. Joe Mason led the Comets with 200 rushing yards and a touchdown while quarterback Jesse Moore ran for 69 yards and two touchdowns.
Moore was 4-for-13 throwing for 47 yards and three interceptions. Colton Keller led the Comets with 28 receiving yards.
Defensively, Noah Cross returned a fumble for a touchdown and Noah Gallentine had an interception. Nick Curl led the defense with 10.5 tackles having seven solo tackles.
BCLUW will host Hudson on Friday.
