West Marshall High School senior Karlyn Snider, seated center, recently committed to play basketball at Des Moines Area Community College in Boone next year. Snider averaged 9.2 points per game in a junior season that saw West Marshall advance to the state tournament, and she averaged 10.2 points per game as a sophomore, making a combined 71 3-pointers in the two seasons.
