CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa women’s basketball team led from wire-to-wire in an 88-66 win over visiting Iowa on Sunday at the McLeod Center.

Northern Iowa (4-0) led by as many as 30 points in the fourth quarter and was driven by a 52-point performance by its reserves. Kam Finley came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points to lead UNI to victory.

Abby Gerrits (15) and Kristina Cavey (14) added to the bench scoring for UNI. Nicole Kroeger started and scored 13 points.

The Panthers shot 10-for-26 from 3-point range.

Makenzie Meyer had 14 points as the only double-digit scorer for Iowa (2-1). Amanda Ollinger added eight points and a team-leading 10 rebounds.
